The Executive Director reports to and collaborates with the Board of Trustees and is assisted by an executive assistant, a bookkeeper, and community volunteers.
Responsibilities include: Manage the Federation office and annual budget Partner with community volunteers and assistants for programming Promote leadership within the Jewish Community and expand membership Community outreach and partnership with Jewish institutions Liaison to community and institutions who support our mission and values Manage fundraising efforts
Qualifications
Self-initiating, mission focused, and engagingCommitment to Judaism in broad form—knowledge and passion for Jewish life, tradition, and culture.—supporting Jewish educational and social needsStrong communication skills, written and verbalBuild/maintain community relations
Education
Bachelor's degree in social sciences, humanities, Jewish studies Previous experience in non profit or human services a plus
