Summary

Flexible location and remote work. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director and collaborates with the Managing Director and Executive Director. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to provide information and service to ACF members. Requires knowledge of the organization and its policies and procedures.

Typical Duties

  • Develop and implement ACF’s communications plan in collaboration with consultants and colleagues, which includes envisioning and designing ACF’s print and digital communications
  • Oversee the writing, production, graphic design, and distribution of a wide variety of print and digital materials
  • Maintain and uphold ACF’s branding and messaging guidelines in all digital and print communications
  • Manage campusfairness.org to ensure that the content is consistent, coherent, and navigable
  • Develop, edit, and distribute electronic ACF updates, newsletters, statements
  • Execute ACF’s social media strategy and monitor all social media channels
  • Develop and manage communications and event marketing calendar
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with marketing and communications-related staff, consultants, and vendors
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related duties as required and assigned

Required Education and Experience

  • Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public affairs, English, or related field from a 4-year college or university
  • 3-5 years of related experience; nonprofit experience a plus
  • Fluency in:
    • Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva; basic HTML
    • Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads 
    • Hootsuite
    • Website publishing, especially via WordPress (other CMS skills a plus)
    • Constant Contact (other database skills a plus)
    • Photography, video creation, and editing skills are a plus 
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly and succinctly for different purposes on complex topics
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for design
    • Demonstrated project management and time management skills
    • Passion for Israel advocacy with experience in campus activism a plus
    • Detail-oriented, self-motivated and self-starting, organized, reliable, team player, proactive, strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to an environment with rapidly evolving priorities
