Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Associate works as an integral part of the Marketing & Communications team to produce and deploy marketing communications based on strategic objectives and organizational priorities while reinforcing marketing best practices. They are responsible for learning and developing proficiency in the tools used by the team and working closely with other team members to produce and deploy digital communications at a fast pace and high volume. This position reports to the Email Operations Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and develop proficiency with the technologies and software supporting email production and deployment, including but not limited to: Workfront, Litmus, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio), and Brevo.
  • Produce and deploy emails and workflows to meet internal partner needs, collaborating with those submitting requests while adhering to the organization’s brand and communication guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Work cross functionally to project manage, produce, and deploy integrated marketing communication initiatives.
  • Own automated user journey setup and execution, including understanding the necessary logic to send users down the relevant journey path and experience.
  • Support setup and deployment of SMS campaigns and initiatives.
  • Support list management and audience segmentation.
  • Understand the factors impacting email deliverability and sender reputation and make recommendations to maintain high scores.
  • Follow established QA practices, including testing of current email template updates, journey workflows, and individual event emails.
  • Work with team members and internal partners to schedule emails and support management of the email deployment calendar.
  • Utilize a strategic mindset to anticipate challenges and suggest creative solutions.
  • Continuously implement digital best practices and make recommendations based on them.
  • Provide backup production support to web team.
  • Support other digital marketing initiatives when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum two years of professional work experience in a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML.
  • Digital design proficiency.
  • Experience working with an email service provider (particularly Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Familiarity with Litmus or other email building tool(s).
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with fast, flexible, and cooperative style, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent project, time, and task management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and to work independently within a larger team.
  • Experience managing digital projects from conception to completion.
  • Jewish philanthropic experience is a plus.

 

Salary Information:

The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $68,000; commensurate with experience and qualifications listed above.

TIME OFF

We offer a generous number of vacation days and have the Jewish holidays off as well. Fridays our offices close early (October to March at 3:00 pm and April to September at 4:00 pm). All so you can relax and recharge.
