Job Overview
Contra Costa JCC is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to manage the strategic marketing function of the growing CCJCC team. We have fresh plans and big goals, and you will play a crucial role in achieving them. We are seeking a talented, creative, and entrepreneurial individual who will develop and execute marketing campaigns, as well as promote our organization to the community.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Monitor and maintain the organization’s website daily, troubleshooting issues and resolving them promptly.
* Create a multi-platform communication strategy and maintain responsibility for execution of that strategy.
* Collaborate with Community Connector on marketing for upcoming events, as needed
* Write and edit for the CCJCC website and social media.
* Create graphics for direct marketing, events and social media
* Provide attendees of CCJCC programs and sponsored events assistance before, during, and after programs and events. This assistance will include activities such as registration help and assisting the program managers when necessary.
* Manage the CCJCC database.
* Provide reports to the Program Director and the Executive Director.
* Track online donations.
* Maintain payment processor accounts such as Stripe, Square, Venmo
* Manage the marketing and communications budget.
* Manager email communications, and community management platforms such as Wix, WordPress, and MailChimp
Qualifications
* 2+ years digital marketing, branding experience
* Experience with WIX and applications hosted on the platform.
* Familiarity with WordPress
* Strong project management and ability to collaborate effectively.
* Experience with direct marketing platforms, Constant Contact or Mailchimp
* Experience creating content and writing for social media and promotional materials
* Experience using Canva
* Expertise in social media platforms, social media marketing, paid ads and campaigns
* Great communication skills
* Familiarity with Jewish life and culture
