Early Childhood Substitute & Floater — Part-TimePosition Overview

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and flexible Part-Time Early Childhood Substitute & Floater to support our early childhood classrooms. This role will rotate between early childhood classes throughout the day, providing assistance where needed and helping maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between early childhood classrooms daily based on program needs.
• Assist lead teachers with classroom activities, routines, and transitions.
• Support children during play, learning activities, meals, and daily routines.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Provide attentive and nurturing supervision of children.
• Follow classroom schedules, policies, and safety procedures.
• Step in to support classrooms when staff members are absent or additional assistance is needed.
• Work collaboratively with lead teachers and other staff members.

Qualifications

• Previous classroom or early childhood experience preferred.
• Experience working with young children is a plus.
• Warm, patient, dependable, and flexible.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and routines.
• Commitment to providing a safe and positive experience for every child.

Position requires the ability to rotate between early childhood classrooms throughout the day.
