Chabad of Tribeca is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and mission-driven Program & Events Coordinator to support and elevate our growing portfolio of educational, cultural, and community programs. This is a full-time position with long-term growth potential, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment and truly enjoys bringing meaningful experiences to life.

The role will begin with a training and transition period alongside our current Director of Programs and Events and will step into a key leadership support role during her maternity leave. Continued opportunities will be available beyond the maternity leave period.

The Program & Events Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Administration & HR and collaborate across departments to ensure seamless program execution, strong systems, and an excellent participant experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of programs, classes, holidays, and community events

  • Manage logistics including timelines, vendors, registrations, communications, and on-site operations

  • Maintain accurate program records, attendance, and data within our CRM system

  • Support internal systems and workflows in partnership with the Director of Administration & HR

  • Communicate professionally with families, vendors, volunteers, and staff

  • Assist with program promotion, follow-up, and participant engagement

  • Support evening, weekend, and holiday programming as required


Ideal Candidate

  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills

  • Confident using CRMs, databases, and digital tools 

  • Professional, warm, and community-minded

  • Prior experience in nonprofit, education, events, or community programming strongly preferred

 

  • Schedule:

    • Hybrid work model with four in-office days

    • Flexibility built into the schedule

    • Some evenings, weekends, and Jewish holidays required, with compensatory time off
