Kitah Bet/Gimmel Teacher

Bnai Tikvah in Canton is looking for a part time teacher for its 2nd/3rd grade classroom, which meets from 9:30am to 12:00pm on Sunday mornings and from 3:45pm to 5:45pm on Tuesday afternoons. This makes for a 7-hour per week position, with a buffer on either end of the school day for prep, cleanup, and occasional staff meetings. 

The Kitah Bet/Gimmel teacher will:

• Collaborate with the Head of School to plan and implement lessons for a small grade 2&3 clasroom, tailoring lessons to the abilities and interests of the students.
• Teach Hebrew skills, holidays, and cultural lessons at an age appropriate level. (Familiarity with Hebrew letters and vowels is required!)
• Assist with activity and special event planning as needed.

Hourly wage of $25-$30, commensurate with experience. B'nai Tikvah also waives temple membership fees for all staff.
