The Tikkun Olam Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and impact of the synagogue’s Tikkun Olam initiatives. Inspired by Tikkun Olam, Repairing the World, as a congregational core value, this role advances a strategic, hands-on approach to social impact—combining direct service, meaningful community partnerships, and opportunities for ongoing engagement.
The Director/Coordinator will oversee existing programs, strengthen volunteer leadership and engagement, and, when appropriate, evolve existing programs and develop new initiatives that address critical issues impacting both the Jewish community and the larger community, locally, regionally, nationally and globally. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-oriented, and passionate about building sustained, meaningful pathways for congregational involvement in repairing the world.
