Westchester Jewish Center seeks an energetic, creative, and relationship-driven Director of Youth and Family Engagement to lead and reimagine our youth and family programming. This is a unique opportunity to shape the next chapter of youth engagement at WJC by building upon current programming and developing innovative new programming that inspires connection, community, and Jewish identity from early childhood through the teen years. The ideal candidate is someone who loves working with young people, building community, and creating joyful Jewish experiences that leave a lasting impact.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director will serve as a member of the synagogue’s senior leadership team and work closely with clergy, the Early Childhood Center, and the Religious School. Together, these partners collaborate to create meaningful experiences that deepen the Jewish lives of our children, teens, and families.
This newly created role offers the opportunity to take a broad, strategic view of youth engagement and build a cohesive and dynamic program that supports families through each developmental stage and milestone.
