Judaics Teacher

Shaloh House Jewish Day School, a vibrant Chabad center with a Preschool, Elementary School, Camp, and Shul, is seeking energetic, idealistic educators to join our Chinuch team (Maternity Cover).

Who We Are

Shaloh House (K-6th grade), offers a unique educational experience. Our teachers are subject-specific experts; beginning in first grade, Shaloh House students are taught by different, highly-trained educators in math, science, English, Hebrew, and Judaics. Our elementary school graduates go on to  private and religious schools, local public schools, as well as Boston’s exam schools.  We pride ourselves on a warm, inclusive environment with strong support and collaboration among faculty.

We’re searching for a knowledgeable and passionate teacher to teach Kodesh or Hebrew.

What You’ll Do

• · Teach  Judaics, Chumash, and/or Hebrew
• · Develop lesson plans and a syllabus aligned with school curriculum and expectations
• · Provide clear communication to parents on requirements and student progress.
• · Participate in all required school professional development activities and school-wide events.
• · Other duties as assigned.

English required. Hebrew or Russian is a plus.
