We are seeking a warm, responsible, and highly organized married couple to serve as Dorm Counselors for our thriving Modern Orthodox day camp community in the Vacation Village–Monticello area. While campers attend daily, counselor staff live on-site in dorms, creating a supportive and mission-driven residential environment. The Dorm Counselor Couple will supervise and support approximately 30 counselors and additional teens living on campus, lead nightly programming and teen activities, ensure safety and rule compliance, build strong mentoring relationships, and coordinate closely with the Camp Director and senior staff on scheduling and operational needs. Responsibilities also include fostering a positive dorm culture through informal programming, check-ins, conflict resolution, and morale building; maintaining dorm cleanliness and functionality; responding calmly to overnight needs or emergencies; and modeling professionalism and community values. Qualified candidates should demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, experience working with teens (camp experience preferred), an approachable leadership style with the ability to set boundaries, strong organizational skills, a commitment to a Modern Orthodox environment, and the ability to reside on-site for the full eight-week summer season.
