Dynamic Religious School Educators Wanted

Temple Israel of New Rochelle’s religious school is looking to fill two teaching positions: Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-6:00pm and Thursday afternoons from 3:30-6:00pm. The position can be filled by one or two people, depending on availability and skill set. Basic Hebrew reading skills are needed for the Tuesday session. The positions will begin immediately. We are looking for a caring and creative individual who loves children and feels a deep connection to Judaism. Our team is a joyful, collaborative, and a mission-driven group, and your talents will make a huge difference in the lives of our students and their families.
We are a dynamic program that looks to engage children through camp-style and interactive programming. You would have the opportunity to help shape the curriculum and bring your personality and vision into the experience.
Temple Israel’s programming year runs through May 23rd. You will be supported with teenage teacher assistants (Madreecheem). Teaching staff will be able to develop their skills as an educator through regular professional development opportunities with our Director of Education as well as outside speakers and resources.
