Religious School Teacher

The Reform Temple of Rockland, a vibrant, inclusive, egalitarian synagogue in Upper Nyack, NY, is expanding its religious school faculty for the fall of 2026. We are seeking teachers, Pre-k - 7th grade, experienced in creating age-appropriate lesson plans and teaching Jewish customs, values, history, Torah, and Hebrew. Responsibilities include Sunday morning, classroom teaching, and week day after-school one-on-one Hebrew lessons via Zoom. Our school offers a nurturing and fun environment, accessible to diverse learners. The program features many special events, such as an on-site petting zoo, an annual chocolate seder, and hands-on cooking experiences. RTR boasts a supportive clergy, staff, and leadership team dedicated to the growth and development of our school. Salary range, $85-100 an hour. Send resume and cover letter to [email protected].
