Position Overview
BZ Media is seeking a strategic and visionary Creative Director to lead our content ecosystem end-to-end. This leader will oversee creative ideation, messaging, content production, creator activation, distribution, and performance analytics across all platforms and channels. This role is designed to be the lead storyteller, translating the “what” and “why” of our messaging into effective and engaging content that speaks the language of the intended audience.
The Creative Director will manage, scale and work in partnership with a growing team, including an Executive Producer and a Digital Media Strategist, ensuring that content and experiences are aligned, high-quality, and impactful.

Key Responsibilities
Creative Vision & Content Strategy
- Define and own the overarching creative vision and storytelling strategy for BZ Media
- Translate organizational mission into compelling, audience-first content and campaigns
- Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and brand identity across all channels
- Identify emerging content trends, formats, and platforms to expand reach and impact
- Partner with the Content Team to develop projects from ideation and scripting through to production, editing, posting and reach analysis
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a growing content team with a focus on creative excellence
- Build scalable workflows across content production, events, and distribution
- Foster a collaborative, creative, and high-performance team culture
- Provide creative direction, feedback, and professional development for team members to ensure mission-aligned output
Content Production Oversight
- Oversee the full lifecycle of content creation—from ideation through production and delivery
- Guide and support the Executive Producer in executing creator-led content initiatives
- Ensure seamless execution of production workflows including story development, scripting, scheduling, and post-production to ensure the final product hits the intended messages and established timelines
- Maintain high creative standards and alignment with brand messaging throughout the full lifecycle of content creation
Creator & Experience Integration
- Oversee strategy for creator activation and experiential storytelling initiatives
- Ensure alignment between content production and in-person experiences (e.g., retreats, learning groups, immersive trips)
- Guide the integration of content captured during experiences into broader media strategy
- Support the development of meaningful creator journeys that translate into impactful content
Distribution & Audience Growth
- Lead content distribution strategy across social, digital, and emerging platforms
- Partner with the Digital Media Strategist to optimize channel performance and audience engagement
- Develop campaigns that maximize reach, retention, and community growth
- Identify partnerships and collaborations that expand BZ Media’s footprint
Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Define KPIs and success metrics for all content and campaigns
- Use engagement and performance data to inform creative decisions and strategy
- Continuously refine content approach based on insights and audience behavior
- Establish a feedback loop between production, distribution, and analytics
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to align content with organizational goals
- Serve as the central decision-maker for brand storytelling and messaging
- Ensure cohesion across content, events, partnerships, and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of experience in creative leadership, media, or content strategy
- Proven experience managing creative teams and scaling content operations
- Strong background in digital content, storytelling, and brand development
- Experience overseeing content production workflows and creator collaborations
- Demonstrated ability to integrate live experiences/events with content strategy
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, audience growth, and analytics
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mission-driven or faith-based media organizations
- Background in video production, creator ecosystems, or digital publishing
- Experience working with influencers or content creators at scale
- Familiarity with event-based storytelling and experiential media

Working Conditions
- Full-time, remote (U.S.-based) role with flexible hours
