Unit Head

Camp Young Judaea Midwest, located in Waupaca, WI is seeking an energetic, engaging, fun, and responsible person to be a Unit Head this summer. This is an extraordinary opportunity to lead an awesome staff, create close relationships, and work with children 2nd-9th grades looking to have the best summer.

Unit Head Responsibilities include:
Directly Supervising counselors – making sure that all staff within your unit carry out all of their day to day activities.
Being a mentor to staff i.e teaching staff problem solving skills, modeling proper behavior, and leading staff meetings
Ensuring staff happiness
Supervising the campers and resolving problems they may have
Coordinating all Unit activities
Being present at all camp-wide events

Qualifications:
21+ preferred
Be available June 7-August 12
Have experience working with children
Ability to communicate effectively
