Religious School Teacher

About the Position

Temple Israel of Natick, MA, an egalitarian, Conservative synagogue, is seeking creative, enthusiastic, and dynamic educators for our religious school. Currently we are seeking a religious school teacher. Our school meets September through May, Sunday mornings, 9:00am to 12:00pm and Wednesday afternoon, 4:00-6:00pm. A Sunday or Wednesday only position may be possible.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates should:

• Have a vibrant and charismatic personality
• Be able to give and receive guidance, constructive feedback and support
• Bring enthusiasm for Jewish learning and living to the classroom
• Be comfortable with an experiential learning and/or informal learning environment

Prior teaching experience, work as a camp counselor, or other work with children is preferable.

Salary

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
