Position Description

Seeking warm, friendly and diligent front desk staff to be the welcoming face of a wonderful Reconstructionist Hebrew School, as our students arrive to the school day. Position includes help with set up and takedown and other tasks as assigned.

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: During Religious School

• 9:00 – Front Desk
• Buzz teachers & madrichimot in; parents and students begin arriving around 9:20
• Welcome our community to the school day!
• Continue with computer work (listed below)
• 11:35 – Caregiver Cafe Breakdown
• Start this by 11:37 in order to return to the desk by the time the steady steam of parents arrive for pick-up
• 11:45 – Parents Arrive
• Stay at the desk until 12:15

12:15 - 12:45 PM: After Religious School

• 12:15 PM – Building Breakdown
• Clear the front desk by 12:15
• Bring Caregivers Cafe coffee cart back to TGP
• Collect and return building signs
• Gather miscellaneous supplies, including Shacharit kippot and siddurim
• Check the supply closet is neat
• Verify the classrooms are clean
