Temple Judea is a Reform congregation of 800+ households located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and we are seeking a highly organized, proactive, positive, skilled Administrative Assistant to help manage day-to-day operations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a warm, fast-paced, mission driven environment and is eager to contribute to a vibrant Jewish community.
You will work closely with our clergy team to ensure smooth and thoughtful support of our Rabbis and Cantorial Soloist.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage and maintain clergy calendars and schedule appointments
Coordinate B'nai Mitzvah - including date selecting, tutoring sessions, home meetings, run throughs and any rentals associated with a mitzvah - like a kiddush luncheon
Prepare Shabbat materials including weekly yahrzeits, annoucements, and sponsorship signs
Respond to congregational inquires (phone/email) regarding clergy and lifecycle events
Assist with intakes for weddings, baby namings, and funerals

A good team player - Supporting other administrative assistants with general phone, greeting congregants etc.
Need to be organized, detail oriented and proactive
Able to maintian confidentiality and composure under pressure
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in an administrative role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage mulitiple priorities
Familiarity with Jewish customs, holidays, and lifecycle events
Profiency in MS Office and comfort with scheduling tools, databases, and communication platforms
