Marketing & Communications Lead (Part-Time)

Location: Remote (with periodic travel to Virginia)
 Hours: 10–20 hours per week
 Compensation: $32–$42/hour depending on experience + performance incentive

About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Marketing & Communications Lead to manage campaign execution, messaging, and growth across two connected initiatives:

  • Hiddr Meats VA (premium kosher meat)
  • Hopetal (retreat hospitality)

This role brings structure, clarity, and execution to our marketing efforts and supports regional growth, seasonal programming, and sales activity.

While the role is primarily remote, periodic travel to Virginia will be required for planning sessions, content capture, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns tied to product availability and seasonal events
  • Support regional sales hubs
  • Build simple, repeatable campaign frameworks

Social Media & Paid Advertising

  • Manage social media presence
  • Run targeted paid ads
  • Track engagement and optimize campaigns

Messaging & Copy

  • Develop clear value propositions for products and retreats
  • Write copy for emails, ads, flyers, and landing pages
  • Ensure messaging consistency across initiatives

Sales & Event Support

  • Create marketing materials for regional sales representatives
  • Develop flyers, email graphics, and launch assets
  • Maintain organized access to updated materials

Brand Consistency

  • Maintain alignment across initiatives
  • Ensure marketing reflects operational capacity and brand standards

Qualifications

  • Experience managing social media and paid advertising campaigns
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Canva, Figma, or similar tools
  • Ability to work independently in a small, founder-led environment
  • Strong organizational and execution skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with food brands, hospitality, or community-based organizations
  • Familiarity with Jewish communities is a plus
