We are seeking a full time 2nd grade teacher for the 2026-27 academic year.

Experience and Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree: in elementary education or a related field; advanced degree(s) preferable, not required
• Teaching certification: required
• Experience: working with elementary aged children
• Qualities: Patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor
• Understanding: of child development, varied learning styles, and effective strategies for dealing with such differences
• Classroom management: Well-developed, effective skills
• Organization skills: Strong
• Communication skills: Excellent - verbal and written
• Collaboration: Works well in a collaborative model with other administrators, teachers, and parents
• Technology: Experience with integrating into the classroom
• Engagement: Ability to engage and inspire students, parents, and families
