?? Aliyah Coordinator – North America 

?? New York City | Full-time | In-office

 

The Jewish Agency for Israel, a global organization dedicated since 1929 to strengthening the connection between Israel and the Jewish people worldwide, is seeking a committed Aliyah Coordinator to join our North America team.

 

About the Role:

 

The Aliyah Coordinator supports individuals and families considering immigration to Israel (Olim), guiding them throughout the Aliyah process. The role includes direct client engagement, coordination with The Jewish Agency’s offices in Israel, and collaboration with key partners across North America.

 

The position is based at The Jewish Agency’s headquarters in New York City and reports to the North America Aliyah Manager and the Head of The Jewish Agency Delegation for North America.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Provide guidance and support to Olim throughout the Aliyah process

- Conduct Aliyah interviews with prospective Olim

- Manage documentation and eligibility follow-ups

- Offer ongoing assistance, feedback, and support to Olim

- Liaise with Israeli Consulate contacts to facilitate Aliyah visas

- Handle daily office and administrative tasks

- Participate in professional conferences and Aliyah-related events; occasional weekend work, )mainly Sundays(, is required

- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management

 

Skills & Qualifications:

 

- Strong commitment to excellent customer service with a proactive, solutions-driven attitude

- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines

- Deep passion for and familiarity with the State of Israel—its history, society, and current affairs

- Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment

- Capacity to work independently and take responsibility for tasks

 

Languages:

 Fluency in Hebrew and English is required

 

Additional Information:

 

- Full-time, in-office position

- Salary range: $65,000-$72,000
