Hadar seeks a Manager of NY Fellowships and Student Experience to support its growing portfolio of yeshiva-based fellowships in New York. This role is responsible for executing Hadar’s in-person fellowships and serving as the primary point of contact for fellows across programs, ensuring a high-quality, well-supported learning experience from admissions through program completion.
Working closely with faculty as and part of the New York Program team, the Manager oversees program planning, participant support, and day-to-day operations that bring Hadar’s educational vision to life. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, familiar with yeshiva or cohort-based learning environments, and brings a sense of humor and intention to exciting, complex, people-centered work.
This position reports to the Director of New York Programs and is based in New York City.
Scope:
The Manager oversees the planning and execution of Hadar’s in-person fellowships, including Hadar’s Advanced Kollel, Summer Beit Midrash, Hadar’s Mekhinah Beit Midrash, NY-based College Fellowships, Shatz Fellowship, and emerging initiatives. The role also supports faculty of select hybrid/virtual fellowships (such as Binyan Olam Cohort and Advanced Rabbinical Cohorts) in coordination with relevant staff.
Key Responsibilities
Program Design & Implementation
- Oversee the planning and execution of Hadar’s fellowship programs.
- Partner with faculty to build learning arcs, schedules, and participant experiences.
- Identify opportunities for improvement through feedback and reflection.
Coordination & Operations
- Ensure clear communication among fellows, faculty, and staff.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support program logistics.
- Partner with the New York Programs team to align fellowship schedules with immersive seminars and public programming.
Admissions & Project Management
- Manage fellowship admissions processes, including applications, interviews, and the selection process.
- Coordinate timelines and systems across multiple fellowship admissions cycles.
- Work with faculty, program, and recruitment partners to support strong applicant pipelines.
Fellow Experience & Support
- Serve as the primary staff contact for fellows across programs.
- Support fellow well-being, engagement, and development throughout the fellowship lifecycle.
- Help cultivate a learning environment that is structured, relational, and responsive.
Organizational Collaboration
- Support select New York programs as needed, particularly where they intersect with fellowships.
- Partner with Rashei yeshiva to ensure that programs comply with and reinforce Hadar's religious standards and outlook
- Contribute to cross-team planning to ensure smooth program execution across Hadar’s New York offerings.
Qualifications
- Experience managing educational programs, fellowships, or cohort-based initiatives
- Familiarity with yeshiva-based learning or Jewish educational environments
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously with care and attention to detail
- Collaborative working style and comfortable partnering with faculty and staff
- Enthusiasm for Hadar’s mission and educational vision

Salary: The salary for this position is $65-70K
