Position: Part-Time Elementary School Hebrew and Judaic Studies Teacher Assistant
Abraham Joshua Heschel Day School, a community Jewish day school, seeks an energetic, passionate, and flexible elementary school Teacher Assistant in grades 1-5, to begin in August 2026. The successful candidate will be professional and collaborative, will possess personal integrity, and will be enthusiastic about participating in our community of lifelong learners.
Compensation is based on experience and background. Salary range is $24-$27 an hour.

Responsibilities will include:
- Work cooperatively and supportively with Hebrew/Judaic Studies teachers and coordinators

Abraham Joshua Heschel Day School is a TK through eighth-grade Jewish community day school. Its 76,000-square-foot facility includes a gymnasium/auditorium/performance space, a library, a lunch pavilion, a Maker/Tech Lab, elementary and middle school science labs, an art studio, a music classroom, playgrounds, and an athletic field.
