Judaic & Hebrew Teachers

Temple Beth David in Westwood is seeking teachers to join our Shorashim Religious School and community for the 2026-2027 school year! We are a vibrant and welcoming Reform congregation in greater Boston, looking for caring and creative educators to be part of our innovative education team. 

Beth David is especially looking for K-6 Judaic teachers on Sunday mornings; Hebrew teachers for 3rd-6th grade small-group classes on Tuesday and/or Wednesday afternoons; and engaging teachers for our teen program electives on Wednesday evenings by trimester. Our great kids and teens are excited to learn and engage with you!  

Applicants should enjoy engaging and inspiring students, have experience working in a Jewish setting, and general knowledge of Jewish customs and holidays, prayers and Hebrew. We are also seeking teachers who have experience supporting students with diverse learning styles. You will receive support, guidance and mentoring.
