The Summit JCC Early Learning Center provides a nurturing, play-based environment that supports the development of the whole child socially, emotionally, creatively, and academically. Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Encourage creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning
- Maintain classroom organization and daily routines
- Collaborate with teaching teams and school leadership
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for early childhood education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred
- CDA or Early Childhood Education background preferred
