Why This Role Matters:

TAMID Group is seeking an Alumni Program Associate who will play a vital role in fostering meaningful engagement among our alumni worldwide. TAMID Alumni are individuals who were active in their TAMID chapter during their undergraduate years. This position supports the continued development of a vibrant, engaged alumni network that advances TAMID’s mission of strengthening the relationship between young professionals and Israel. Through events, initiatives, and strategic outreach, the Alumni Program Associate helps ensure that TAMID Alumni remain connected to each other and to the organization and its mission.

The Alumni Program Associate is a newly created position, in line with TAMID’s strategic priorities to more deeply engage alumni. The position will report to TAMID’s Alumni Program Director and work closely with TAMID’s existing Alumni Program Associate.

This role is an ideal opportunity for someone who is energized by community-building, excels at relationship management, thrives in event planning, and is passionate about connecting professionals to Israeli companies, and is excited to contribute to a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Programs & Events (60%)

  • Partner with alumni volunteers to plan professional and social events across the U.S. and globally, and provide the guidance, structure, and support local volunteer leaders need to successfully execute events in their cities.
  • Manage event logistics, communications, and follow-up to ensure a seamless experience that reflects TAMID’s brand and values.
  • Own additional, non-event program offerings, and take on ad hoc projects that improve the alumni experience and operational efficiency.

 

Community Engagement (25%)

  • Communicate and collaborate with alumni volunteer leadership.
  • Build relationships with alumni members to understand their interests and goals, and connect them with existing alumni offerings.
  • Connect alumni with student leaders for volunteer opportunities with chapters.

 

Operations & Communications (15%)

  • Collaborate with the alumni team to curate and draft content for the monthly alumni newsletter.
  • Write targeted outreach messages to promote events, programs, and opportunities to relevant alumni segments.
  • Support operations of key alumni initiatives, ensuring seamless participant experiences, efficient internal processes, and accurate, well-maintained backend data.

What Success Looks Like:

Within the first 6–12 months, success in this role would include:

  • Building strong relationships across TAMID teams and alumni stakeholders.
  • Successfully managing key responsibilities independently and in close partnership with the alumni team.
  • Maintaining and improving efficiency, organization, and program effectiveness across a growing number of events.
  • Planning successful programs that directly impact the alumni department KPIs.
  • Helping strengthen the alumni experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 1+ years of experience in programming, community engagement, event planning, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Comfort using and/or learning technology platforms, including project management and communication tools and CRMs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
  • Experience engaging young professionals
  • Experience working with or managing volunteers
  • Experience supporting programs, events, operations, or community engagement work
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Monday.com, Salesforce, and/or Slack

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $50,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment & Expectations:

This is a fully remote position within the U.S.

Team members collaborate regularly through Zoom, Slack, and Monday.com.

This role may require:

  • Occasional evening/weekend work
  • Occasional domestic travel
  • Flexibility during major events or organizational initiatives
