About the David Labkovski Project (DLP)

Founded in 2016, the David Labkovski Project (DLP)is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing Holocaust education through the narrative artwork and life story of Holocaust survivor David Labkovski (1906–1991). DLP's traveling exhibitions, "Documenting History Through Art" and "Through the Eyes of David Labkovski, Sholom Aleichem and His Heroes," promote tolerance, inclusion, and historical awareness while addressing antisemitism, discrimination, and hate.

Through multidisciplinary, project-based educational programs, students and adults learn about Jewish life before the Holocaust and become educators and advocates in their own communities.

Based in Los Angeles, DLP has partnered with more than 100 nonprofit organizations, schools, colleges, and community groups, presenting exhibits, lectures, workshops, and educational programs across the United States and internationally.
