Description

Office Manager needed for small suburban Conservative synagogue in the West Valley of Phoenix. Major responsibilities include:

  • Answering phones M-F 9:00 - 12:00
  • Welcoming visitors
  • Assisting rabbi with administrative support
  • Generating weekly bulletin
  • Congregational communications via email and phone-tree
  • Processing payments
  • Managing membership database
  • Event support
  • Coordinating volunteers

Must be familiar with Google: Gmail, Calendar, Docs and Sheets. Office: Word, Publisher and Spreadsheets. We use Rakefet Synagogue management software as well.

Occasional extra hours, especially in the month leading up to the High Holidays.
