Full-Time | Year-Round Preschool Program in Oak Park, Michigan

Position Overview

We are a well-established preschool seeking a caring, dependable, and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our year-round early childhood program. The ideal candidate is passionate about child development, creates a warm and engaging classroom environment, and partners well with families and colleagues to support each child’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for preschool-aged children.
• Create a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Maintain positive, professional communication with parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers, leadership, and colleagues to ensure quality classroom operations.

Qualifications

• An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Previous classroom experience.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Ability to meet all applicable background check, training, and licensing requirements.
