Program & Communications Assistant (Part-Time, ~20 hrs/week)

Location: Remote (U.S. based)

NA’AMAT USA

For over 100 years, NA’AMAT USA has connected American women to a shared mission of advancing the lives of women, children, and families in Israel. Through education, advocacy, community engagement, and philanthropy, we strengthen a century-old movement of Zionist feminism in action.

We are expanding our national team and seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Program & Communications Assistant to support our national programs, communications, and donor stewardship. This is a part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes work that keeps an organization running smoothly.

You will be the person who makes the trains run on time — managing Zoom links, formatting newsletters, producing gift acknowledgments, and helping keep our team organized across communications and programs.

This is a part-time role (~20 hours/week) designed for a candidate who brings professional maturity and strong relational instincts, even if coming from a varied background.

 

Key Responsibilities

Gift Acknowledgments

  • Generate donor acknowledgment letters using pre-approved templates.
  • Print, mail, or email acknowledgments and tribute notifications.
  • Maintain tracking spreadsheets and verify accuracy of donor information.

Program Support

  • Create Zoom links, manage registration lists, and prepare reminders.
  • Support national virtual programs with technical and logistical help.
  • Track attendance and provide basic metrics.
  • Assist chapters with simple tech needs.

Communications Support

  • Use Canva templates to create simple graphics.
  • Format newsletters and program announcements.
  • Schedule posts approved by the Communications & Programs Manager.
  • Assist with list cleanup and monthly reporting.

General Operations

  • Respond to online inquiries and route them appropriately.
  • Maintain organized shared drives and chapter resource folders.
  • Support mailings, materials, and other operational tasks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years in donor/member/customer care roles
  • Experience in Jewish/Israel/women-centered orgs
  • Experience supporting chapters
