Role Overview
The Bay Area Center to Counter Antisemitism (BACCA) seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-service focused administrative professional to join our team as Administrative Coordinator. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Antisemitism Incident Response and K-12 Prevention, this role provides critical organizational support for BACCA’s antisemitism incident response work — managing the response workflow, keeping records accurate and accessible, coordinating across numerous individuals involved in a case, and ensuring that BACCA’s new case management platform is well maintained so that records and reporting are accurate and the staff and consulting team are correctly and promptly tagged with tasks, to ensure excellent service to the community members supported by BACCA as well as quality, safeguarded data in the system.
This role involves regular access to highly sensitive, confidential, and at times legally significant information about individuals and incidents. BACCA is looking for someone with excellent judgment who understands the seriousness of this responsibility and can be trusted to handle sensitive information with consistent discretion and care.
The Administrative Coordinator will initially focus almost exclusively on supporting BACCA’s incident response work. Over time, this person may take on additional administrative responsibilities in other parts of the organization, such as providing administrative support to BACCA’s financial management or fundraising functions.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precise, well-organized systems, exercises careful discretion with sensitive information, can calmly juggle competing priorities, asks for help and guidance when needed, and also takes initiative as appropriate, and enjoys being the person who keeps a busy, multi-person process running smoothly. Experience in educational settings, para-legal work or public policy is a plus.
This is a full-time, primarily remote position. Candidates based in the Bay Area are strongly preferred.
