The B'nai Mitzvah Coordinator of Temple Beth Shalom serves as the primary guide, advocate, and relationship manager for families throughout the B'nai Mitzvah journey. This is a highly relational, customer service driven, full-time role — Tuesday through Saturday, with regular Saturday morning presence — that ensures each family experiences a smooth, organized, meaningful, and warmly supported process from date selection through the service itself. The Coordinator works closely with clergy, tutors, and staff to create a seamless and celebratory B'nai Mitzvah experience and fulfills the duties listed below in keeping with the congregation's core values and mission.

Time Commitment
Full time, Tuesday through Saturday work week. Includes regular Saturday morning presence from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (approximately 25 to 35 Saturdays per year) and occasional Mondays. Hybrid work is possible with supervisor approval.
Note: Duties are subject to adjustment depending on programming needs, the B’nai Mitzvah calendar, and other factors, which will be managed in discussion with the Director of Lifelong Learning.
