Compensation: $55,000–$65,000, commensurate with experience
Employment Type: full-time; a flexible role combining in-person and remote work.
Benefits: 401(k) with employer matching, health insurance, paid holidays and parental leave , professional development investment

About this Role: The Office Manager is the operational heartbeat of imadi, ensuring our team has the systems, support, and structure needed to serve families with excellence. While much of the work happens behind the scenes, its impact is felt every day by our staff, volunteers, and the children and families we support.

Work Schedule & Flexibility: This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position that offers significant flexibility in how and where work is completed. Rather than a traditional 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. office schedule, this position affords the ability to work remotely for much of the week while remaining fully engaged and responsive. Weekly team meetings and occasional in-person responsibilities require candidates to live in the Maryland/Washington, DC area, but the majority day-to-day responsibilities can be remotely. Our office closes early on Fridays to allow staff time to prepare for Shabbat.

Responsibilities Include:

Data Management

  • Management of client, donor, and volunteer records
  • Create and maintain event registration pages

 Financial & Administrative Operations

  • Oversee bookkeeping, payroll, organizational credit card expenses, and expense-tracking systems through QuickBooks Online.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for administrative vendor accounts

Coordinate Family Support Services

  • Coordinate services and other family support requests.

Create & Implement a Donor Stewardship Plan

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with donors through meaningful engagement

Maintain a Welcoming Office Environment

  • Create a welcoming experience for everyone who interacts with imadi, whether in person, by phone, or online.
  • Manage the organization’s main phone line and online inquiries, ensuring timely, professional responses.
  • Maintain office supplies and administrative systems to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the professional team as needed.
