Religious School Teacher

Temple Aliyah is a Conservative, egalitarian synagogue in Needham, Massachusetts. We have 400 member families and 60 students in our religious school called Mercaz Aliyah.

We are looking for a warm and caring 6^th grade teacher for the 2026-27 school year. School hours are Sundays from 9:30-11:45 AM and Mondays from 3:45 -5:45 PM. The curriculum includes teaching Hebrew and Tefillot, Torah, Israel, and Jewish Holidays. Teachers are required to write lesson plans, email home to parents regularly, and attend 3-4 professional development sessions.
