Israel Legacy is at the forefront of creating a culture of Legacy giving in Israel by supporting Israeli Amutot (Not for Profits) to incorporate Legacy Giving (Planned Giving) into their resource development strategy. Our comprehensive program includes training, education, implementation, mentorship and more.
For many Israeli nonprofits, Legacy Giving is a new concept and represents the most significant untapped fundraising opportunity for many Israeli Amutot and ‘Friends of’ Organizations. Through our organization’s Legacy development program, we support the efforts of our partner Israel based nonprofits, including helping them grow their Legacy program through marketing, communications planning and working directly with donors.
About the Position
Israel Legacy is looking for a part time fundraising or Legacy professional who enjoys making outbound phone calls to prospective donors. This is a part time contractor role who would support the development efforts of different Israel nonprofits.
The goal of the phone calls is to educate and engage donors about the nonprofit’s Legacy giving program. Many of the organizations that we work with don’t have time to call all of their donors and provide the kind of personalized phone call that can be a valuable part of donor engagement.
That’s where you come in. On the calls, you would likely speak about the organization’s mission and work, speak about the Legacy program and other relevant information, and answer the and connect them with the next step. In addition, you may support the organizations with other donor facing activities (based on your experience) related to donor cultivation work.
The ideal candidate loves speaking with people of all ages, has a deep love of Israel in their DNA, and will have a background in fundraising or outbound calling. If you have experience speaking to donors about Legacy, that is a plus an
Please note – the is not a senior level planned giving role. Planned giving experience is not required, as long as you open to learning and testing what works best. What matters most is that you enjoy speaking with prospective donors, don’t mind making outbound phone calls, and like the idea of working with different causes (rest assured, we work with amazing organizations who do incredibly important work.)

This is a remote, U.S. based position. No travel is required.
