Assistant Teacher

Irving Montak SINAI School at SAR Academy is seeking a highly motivated assistant teacher for the 2026-27 school year to teach students with special needs for its campus in Riverdale, NY, which partners with SAR Academy. The individual should bring a wealth of knowledge and experience with children.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting a general studies teacher in the classroom for students with special needs.
• Providing academic support and guidance to students as needed.

Qualifications:

• Teaching experience in a special education setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of Orthodox Judaism a plus
