Preschool 2s Assistant Teacher (3 day and/or 5 day)

Position Overview

The Assistant Teacher supports the Head Teacher in maintaining a safe, organized, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom. This position is ideal for someone who is a true self-starter and takes initiative once familiar with the classroom flow.

Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborate closely with the Head Teacher and communicate observations
• Actively engage with young children throughout the day
• Set up the classroom each morning with centers, manipulatives, and learning materials
• Prepare snack and art projects for the day
• Participate in professional learning and take initiative in their own growth as an educator
• Follow all injury reporting and safety procedures
• Willing to learn and embrace Jewish holidays and traditions
• Physical requirements- frequently bend, sit, squat, stand, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and regularly lift or carry loads between 25–40 lbs

Qualifications Needed:

• High school diploma
• Experience working with young children

Schedule/Hours:

September 1, 2026, through June 10, 2027

Monday-Friday with flexible workdays 

Options to work part-time (2 days or 3 days) or full-time (5 days)

8:55 am-11:50 am
