High Holiday Cantor Position

Temple Sholom of Pompano Beach is seeking a warm and engaging cantorial soloist or student to lead our conservative congregation for the High Holidays to perform with our clergy. Formal ordination is not required. However knowledge of traditional High Holiday Nusach is required for our services that include Erev Rosh Hashona, Rosh Hashona ( 1st and 2nd day) , Kol Nidre, Yom Kippur morning, Yizkor and afternoon services followed by Neilah. The Harlow 1978 edition of Mahzor for Rosh Hashona & Yom Kippur is utilized by this progressive conservative congregation. Compensation to be discussed. 

Founded in 1960, the Temple is the longest-standing congregation in Eastern Broward County and features a magnificent and historical facility. Local candidates are preferred.
