Co-Located Therapist

Ruth and Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is currently hiring a full-time C0-Located Therapist. This role will provide mental health counseling for Palm Beach County students Elementary and Middle School. The role is responsible to identify and engage students with mental health issues within the school setting. Interventions include early intervention, prevention and crisis management. This position is also responsible to work with the school staff and faculty to address the needs of students and their families. this position is a 12 month position, 10 mnths in the school system and 2 months on-site with JFS with the Outreach Department.

Required Education and Experience

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental health Counseling or related field
• Prefer school setting experience and working wiht trauma and other mental health needs.
• Background in individual and group counseling
• Individual counseling
• Mental Health treatment
• Trauma care
• Child and Adolescent behavior
• Proficient in Microsoft and EHR database Insync to eneter documentation and notes
• Must speak englist
• Strong alphabetical and chronological skills
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whle numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry our instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with probls involving variables in standardized situations.
