Maimonides School, an Orthodox Jewish Day School in Brookline, MA seeks an energetic and experienced individual who is well versed in K-5 instructional methodology, who is warm, creative, professional, and energetic, and who works well with children and adults.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing developmentally appropriate and engaging lessons focusing on literacy, math, social-emotional development, and other general academic skills.
Must have strong communication skills, along with ability to work collaboratively with co-teachers, specialists and school leadership.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years classroom teaching experience preferably in early childhood or elementary school setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a Jewish day school environment. (Jewish background is welcome but not required)
