Hebrew School Teacher (Ages 5–7) – Sunday Mornings

East Midwood Jewish Center Hebrew School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable teacher to join our Sunday morning team!

We’re looking for an experienced educator with a strong background in Hebrew language, Judaics, Jewish history, and culture to lead a small class of young students in a warm, engaging environment.

Our school emphasizes Montessori-style, project-based learning, helping children explore Jewish life through creativity, curiosity, and hands-on experiences.

Details:

• Schedule: Sundays, 2 hours (morning) during the school year
• Students: Ages 5–7
• Focus: Hebrew, holidays, Torah stories, Jewish values, and culture
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching or working with young children
• Strong foundation in Jewish learning and Hebrew
• Creative, organized, and enthusiastic educator
