Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls

Position Overview

The Director of Admissions & Marketing plays a central role in shaping Ma’ayanot’s future by helping us share our story and welcome students who will grow within our community.

This is a senior leadership role that brings together vision, relationships, and execution: thinking strategically about where we are headed, communicating clearly what makes Ma’ayanot exceptional, and ensuring that every prospective family experiences the school with warmth, clarity, and care.

At the same time, this role carries significant ownership and scope. The Director is responsible for developing and driving a forward-looking admissions strategy, overseeing the full admissions process, and building the systems and structures that support strong, consistent execution in an increasingly competitive landscape.

The Director also plays a key role in fostering a culture in which admissions is understood as a shared responsibility and is rooted in genuine pride in who we are and how we represent the school.

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Leadership of Admissions

  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine a multi-year admissions strategy aligned with the school’s mission and goals
  • Identify and prioritize target populations, feeder schools, and outreach opportunities
  • Monitor trends in the admissions landscape and proactively adapt strategy
  • Use data and reflection to assess outcomes and guide decision-making

Ownership of the Admissions Process

  • Lead and manage the full admissions cycle, from inquiry through enrollment and class placement
  • Ensure a process that is organized, responsive, and consistently high-quality
  • Oversee admissions events, visits, and recruitment efforts with creativity and purpose
  • Establish and maintain clear systems for communication, tracking, timelines, and follow-through

Marketing, Messaging & Storytelling

  • Articulate Ma’ayanot’s mission, strengths, and distinctiveness with clarity and authenticity
  • Develop and oversee a cohesive marketing strategy aligned with admissions goals
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all platforms, including digital, print, and in-person engagement
  • Tell the story of the school in a way that builds energy, pride, and connection within and beyond the community

Systems, Data & Execution

  • Design and implement systems that support efficient workflows, clear communication, and strong follow-through
  • Track and analyze key metrics (inquiries, applications, enrollment, yield)
  • Use data to inform strategy, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure that strong ideas are translated into consistent, reliable execution

Relationship Building & External Presence

  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with prospective families, feeder schools, and community partners
  • Serve as a visible, credible, and warm ambassador of the school
  • Strengthen the school’s presence and reputation within the broader community

Internal Leadership & Culture Building

  • Partner closely with the leadership team to align admissions work with broader school priorities
  • Engage faculty, students, and parents as authentic ambassadors of the school
  • Build shared ownership of admissions across the community
  • Create structures that make participation clear, meaningful, and sustainable

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Relevant experience in admissions, marketing, education, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and program development
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Alignment with the mission and values of Ma’ayanot and Jewish education
