ALUT—the Israeli National Autism Association—provides comprehensive support to children and adults with autism, as well as their families, from diagnosis throughout their lifetime. The organization operates nationwide, offering various levels of assistance and guidance. ALUT advocates for the rights of individuals with autism in Israel by working closely with state authorities while promoting awareness, research, and development. Collaboration is at the heart of ALUT’s mission to create a meaningful societal impact and enhance the lives of those affected by autism.

Role Description

This part-time remote role focuses on strengthening ALUT's fundraising efforts through building and maintaining relationships with donors in the US. The Fundraising Manager is responsible for engaging with major donors, and board members creating and executing fundraising efforts, and collaborating with philanthropic organizations and charities to secure contributions that support ALUT’s mission. The role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills to effectively convey the organization’s impact and vision to potential supporters. The Job is freelance based on hourly rate from 12-30 hrs per months and could grow to a full-time position. There is no staff to manage needs to reside in the east coast. 

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of fundraising sector in the US including foundations, Jewish federations, private donors.
• Proven project management skills.
• Experience in engaging donors and fostering philanthropic relationships
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt to a remote work setting.
