Preschool Co-Teacher for 2026-2027

Mini Sinai Childcare Center is seeking a 3’s Co-Teacher
School Year: 2026–2027

Mini Sinai Childcare Center is looking for a warm, patient, and dedicated 3’s Co-Teacher to join our preschool team for the 2026–2027 school year.We are located in New Yyork City in Washington Heights (near YU).

Our program is Reggio-inspired and play-based, encouraging children’s curiosity, creativity, and exploration through hands-on learning experiences. The co-teacher will work closely with the lead teacher to create a nurturing classroom environment, develop lesson plans, and design activities centered around children’s interests, developmental needs, and Jewish holidays.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• At least one year of experience working in a childcare or preschool setting
• Patient, reliable, nurturing, and loving approach with young children
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to collaborate with a co-teacher and participate in lesson planning
• Commitment to creating a positive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment

Upon hiring, candidates must:

• Complete all required online trainings, including Mandated Reporter, SIDS, AHT (Abusive Head Trauma), and Anaphylaxis training
• Complete fingerprinting through the Department of Investigation (DOI) prior to beginning employment
