Temple Judea is a Reform congregation of 800+ households located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and we are seeking a highly organized, proactive, skilled Administrative Assistant to help manage day-to-day operations at the team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is eager to contribute to a vibrant Jewish community.
This position reports to the Office Manager and key responsiblities include (but are not limited to):
Providing exceptional member support and responding to congregant needs
Primary point of contact for all donations and acknowledgements
Providing clergy support - setting and managing appointments, calendars, and clergy led programming
Maintaining a positive and welcoming image of the congregation
Managing phone and general communications
Assistanting with project management for both the clergy and at times for congregational committees
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in adminstrative support role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Discretion and a thoughtful, collaborative approach
Familiarity with Jewish customs, holidays and life cycle events
Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with database management systems and AI for general communication needs
