Our vibrant, values-driven community is in search of an organized, trustworthy, and mission-minded Office Manager to join our team and help our community thrive.
Position Overview
This part-time role (25–29 hours per week, Tuesday–Friday) serves as a welcoming presence, providing a warm welcome to members and visitors, managing our front office, and supporting our administrative and financial operations. The Office Manager also supports the Executive Director in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth communication, efficient workflows, and seamless coordination across the congregation. Beyond greeting and answering calls, the Office Manager oversees bills, payments, deposits, and building maintenance, ensuring our community runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet members, visitors, and service professionals, creating a welcoming environment.
• Answer and manage phone calls, emails, and general correspondence.
• Process payments, manage bills, and oversee deposits accurately and securely.
• Coordinate building maintenance, repairs, and schedules with service professionals.
• Support the Executive Director with scheduling, communications, and operational tasks.
• Maintain confidential records with discretion and professionalism.
• Demonstrate and support the mission and values of the Jewish Reconstructionist Movement in internal and external interactions.
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• High level of trustworthiness and professionalism, especially with financial and confidential matters.
• Friendly, clear, and effective communication skills.
• Experience in office management and basic financial operations preferred.
- Experience with ShulCloud helpful, but not mandatory.

Schedule & Compensation
• Part-time: 25–29 hours per week, Tuesday–Friday
• Compensation: $25 hour, reflecting our commitment to fair and equitable wages
