Part-Time Hebrew Coordinator

Interested in leading a dynamic and child-centered Hebrew program?

 Temple Israel in New Rochelle is looking for its next Hebrew Coordinator on Thursday afternoons for third through sixth grade. We are a dynamic program that looks to engage children through interactive programming. This position has a salary of $5500 and is in-person.

 The person is this role will work closely with the Director of Education in ensuring Hebrew reading benchmarks are being met by students. We work with the Phonetic Hebrew Decoding program and the individual in this role would be responsible for helping track student progress via teacher feedback. The person will also assist teachers in creating Hebrew review games.

 Temple Israel’s programming year runs September 3rd through May 11th. Additional teaching opportunities are available for religious school classroom teachers on Tuesday afternoons.
