Overview:

Kinneret Day School is a warm, diverse, Zionist pluralistic Jewish Day School in the Riverdale area of the Bronx. We are currently seeking a full time Middle School ELA teacher. Experience in developing and implementing literature, grammar, vocabulary and writing curricula required.  A successful candidate must have proven success in differentiated instruction, positive parent and community communication, and preparation for state assessments. Responsibilities:

- Create engaging differentiated lesson plans and deliver instruction to elementary school students
- Utilize multiple learning techniques and resources to enhance teaching methods
- Implement education intervention strategies for students who require additional support or accelerated learning
- Communicate positively and effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Administer assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with education administration to support school initiatives
