Beth Judah Temple, Wildwood is the only synagogue in Cape May County. It has approximately 60 member units and is staffed by a part time Administrative Assistant, Custodian and Rabbi. The building has in service programs between April and October, and is via Zoom other times of the year. The synagogue was recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is creating a museum/library/cultural center.
General Statement of Duties: The part time administrator leads daily operatrions of a small, vibrant synagogue, fostering a welcoming environment and ensuring alignment with the congregations's mission. In coordination with Board of Directors, oversee day to day management of technology, communications, and programming. With Board liaisons, carry out Beth Judah's Strategic Plan to re-vitalize membership, programming and spiritual activities. Maintaine visibility via media platforms. Hybrid position: combination of on site and off site duties. Approximately 8-10 hours weekly with more on-site responsibilities during the summer months. Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bachelors Degree or higher REQUIRED. Experience in Programming preferred. Strong Interpersonal Skills. Detail oriented, self-starter, team player.
