Administrative Education Coordinator

Broward Central Synagogue | Growing School Community

Broward Central Synagogue is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Administrative Education Coordinator to join our administrative team and support our growing educational programs. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations while serving as a welcoming and professional point of contact for families, staff, and teachers.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day preschool and after-school elementary operations with outstanding communication and customer service
  • Manage communication across families, staff, and teachers, including email, parent apps, website updates, newsletters, shared calendars, and signage
  • Maintain accurate records, rosters, attendance logs, and required compliance documentation
  • Track staff training and support licensing and accreditation requirements
  • Assist with event planning, scheduling, and logistics for school and family programs
  • Utilize technology platforms efficiently, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, ShulCloud, registration and payment systems

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred (Business Administration, Early Childhood Education, or a related field)
  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience; experience in a school or early childhood setting strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Very strong technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, ShulCloud, and school/synagogue technology platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • 45 hours Early Childhood Training
  • Knowledge of Judaism is required
  • Director Credential or willingness to work toward obtaining the credential
  • English plus Hebrew and/or Spanish language preferred

 Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 8:30 m.–5:30 p.m.

 Work Environment

Fast-paced preschool setting with frequent interaction with children, families, and staff. Some evening or weekend hours may be required for special events.
